The Tactical 52 Story And Mission
In a 30-year career in government and law enforcement, Tactical 52 founder Ken Abrams has always understood the importance of ethical standards and professional values. These values were instilled in Ken from his early career in the Air Force as a marksmanship instructor, as an instructor and course developer with the DEA and as a Country Attaché in the US embassy in Bucharest, Romania. Founded by United States Air Force veteran Ken Abrams, Tactical 52 is a Certified Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) specializing in training for law enforcement professionals at the local, state, and federal level.
Trustworthiness, Honesty, And Fairness
However, the importance of these values began much earlier in his youth. “My grandmother taught me important values to live by both inside and outside our home: namely trustworthiness, honestly and fairness,” he says. “As a husband, father, and grandfather, I appreciate these family values.”
In his law enforcement career, Ken quickly discovered that the values he learned in his youth also applied to his career, “I realized that these same core values and principles also applied to ethical policing,” he says.

Ken founded Tactical 52 to serve as a learning platform to deliver these core values to both onboarding and career law enforcement professionals. As an experienced instructor and educator, he understands that continuing education and training are essential to promoting successful performance on the job. To that end, Tactical 52 courses provoke discussion critical thinking and encourage law enforcement professionals to make ethically sound decisions in this complex, rapidly changing daily environment.
